Education Anywhere

Mountain Movers

We are a small grassroots charity that is run solely by volunteers who are all home educators as well. We are always in need of more help and support no matter how big or small. With our community ethos of supporting each other, we could not run without many hands working together to make these activities happen.

We receive no government funding and are dependent on fundraising and donations. We are registered on the free service Give as You Live where you can generate free funds for us whilst doing your usual online shopping at no extra cost to you.  You can also generate free funds on your online searches as well, by using the Everyclick tool.

All our activities are shown on the calendar below.  Some activities require advanced booking - the date booking opens will be in with all the event details on the calendar.

Booking Details:

First book a place via our booking platform (accessed from here via the Book Places Button which will redirect you to the booking site). Please note the booking site does not take payments directly, you will need to arrange to send funds either via Paypal or direct bank transfer (details on request). Booked places will not be confirmed until payment has been received. As places are limited for activities, non-payment within 24 hours of booking will result in your booking being canceled.

An exciting new project, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund

Click the picture to find out more!

We have an exciting year ahead starting this September with the return of our popular LC2 climbing, soft play, and waterpark access. We also have the opportunity to add a multisensory and/or coached sports activity (such as football, basketball, badminton etc to our schedule. If you are interested in these additional activities, please get contact us.

Not only do we have our amazing Mindfully Creative Learning Project running which is being supported by funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, our lovely trustee and chair, Erika, has been awarded one of only 12 places on the British Science Association Community Leaders Programme! We are so proud of this achievement and can't wait to start planning on ways to increase engagement and science opportunities and learning for our members.
